The GEM series are golden power supplies with a small footprint that can be easily built into a limited computer case. Its 40ºC/104ºF operating ambient temperature maintains the best electrical performance, while the optional fan switch provides the best noise reduction. Therefore, efficient, quiet and durable GEM is the best power source.

Efficiency
The GEM Series features a highly efficient design that exceeds the 80Plus Gold standard, helping you save money on your electricity bills. The GEM series has been designed and thoroughly tested for optimal performance in a 40ºC operating environment. The temperature inside a small computer case is usually higher than usual.

Stability
GEM LLC, DC-DC and Tri-Sense (3.3V, 5V and 12V) designs were created to ensure high quality outputs. Thanks to the excellent CLASS F transformer, the GEM series is characterized by reliable performance. Japanese 105°C capacitors for the main and standby power supply provide permanent power to the computer.

Quiet fan
Zero Fan Mode is an option that allows the fan to idle during low to medium loads, which is controlled by a switch on the rear panel of the power supply. When the 0-dB switch is in the "ON" position, Zero Fan mode will be activated. The fan will start when the power supply load exceeds 30% to minimize fan noise. Utilizing COUGAR's unique silent 120mm fan, the advanced frame increases airflow concentration, while the fan curvature has been precisely tuned to reduce vibration under any load.
