A fresh breeze invigorates the radiator industry. With numerous top rankings in tests and customer reviews, the models from Alpenföhn are now among the most sought after on the market. The meteoric rise of the brand was not a start from zero to a hundred. Finally, the well-known manufacturer EKL stands behind it, which has been providing excellent cooling solutions from German development and Asian production since 1995 and created this sub-brand as part of an internal restructuring. In addition to coolers for processors, models for graphics cards, RAM and hard disk as well as separate fans and accessories are now available. Another key feature is the extremely creative naming of the products.
Those who value a smooth-running PC and also want to get rid of the last sounds, should resort to the improved Case Spaetzle 2 , which are even easier to use thanks to an optimized rubber compound. The loudest known to be the fan in a housing and this is partly because they transmit their vibrations to the housing. To prevent this, one uses the so-called vibration killers, which effectively prevent the fans from touching the housing via a rigid body. The rubber elements absorb the vibrations almost completely and the unpleasant noise is thus switched off.
Please note that the vibration transducers must be completely inserted into the screw holes of the fans to provide a secure hold. Although they are much easier to push into the screw holes of the housing, but you must also be completely pushed through the fan side. To do this, pull hard on the rubber from the back of the fan hole until it snaps into place. The rubber is resistant and will not tear. (Please do not pull with pliers anyway !) If it is too heavy by hand, simply lubricate the rubber a little bit beforehand, eg with Vaseline. Once engaged, the vibration killer sits bombproof.
