Anything above the current threshold will trigger manual OC mode; if it is below the current threshold, Precision Boost Overdrive mode will engage. The idea is to combine overclocking on all cores and automatic power boost on one core to get the best CPU performance. There is no need to configure from BIOS, all settings can be modified in the operating system in real time.
