Levenhuk 1000B Binocular Microscope is a professional optical tool for accurate microscopy observations. It can be used for morphological and general clinical research, bacterioscopy and cytology, education in higher professional institutes. This microscope is supplied with plan achromatic objective lenses. It allows for adjusting Köhler illumination that provides the maximum effective combination of image resolution and contrast.

Microscopes in the Levenhuk 1000 series are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system that is used in professional and high-class microscopes. This system includes Infinity PlanAchromat objectives and allows for receiving clear, high-contrast images with a high level of flatness.

One of the most important features of the infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows for installing any additional elements in the light path between objective lenses and an ocular tube. These elements include polarizing devices, epifluorescence lights, and DIC prisms with minimal deviations in the focus and correction of aberrations. All in all, the module principle of the design and simple use make Levenhuk MED 1000 optimal microscopes for applying them in different types of microscopy and working in hematological, histological, microbiological laboratories, and more.

The binocular head is rotatable around its axis. That allows a group of people to work with this microscope simultaneously: you do not have to move an optical tool; you only need to turn its head to demonstrate the steps of observations. The eyepiece tube is located at a 30° angle that reduces the eyestrain and neck muscles tension, ensuring that even extended observations will be comfortable. The optical system consists of four plan achromatic objective lenses and a pair of wide-angle eyepieces. Plan achromatic optics reduce spherical aberrations and improves color rendering, and also evens the field of view (up to 95% of the image).

The LED illumination is located in the lower part of the microscope. It features adjustable brightness. The illumination module includes an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a light filter. All specimens are fixed on a stage that features a graphite coating. The stage is movable along two axes. Coarse and fine focusing adjustment knobs are used for focusing.

The kit includes a dust cover for practical storage. Optional accessories in the Levenhuk MED series (purchased separately) allow for upgrading your microscope in no time.
