The MULTONA system consists of 408 different colour shades, including one clearcoat, in practical 400 ml cans. New items are regularly added to the MULTONA program to cover the latest additions and popular car colour shades. Simply shake the MULTONA cans thoroughly for 2 minutes and spray to test - and you are ready to start!

Please note! MULTONA 400 ml shades are approximate colour shades and do NOT 100% match the original colour shades.

Binding agent base:

• Nitro combination resin (395 colour tones)
• Acrylic resin (12 colour tones + clearcoat)

Spray coating:

• For 2 cross-coats: 50-60 μm
• Drying times:
  • Dust dry: after approx. 15-20 min.
  • Fast to handling: after approx. 60 min.
  • Dry hard: after approx. 12 hours

Can be painted over:

• With itself: at any time
• With clear lacquer at any time (MULTONA clearcoat)

Application steps:

Metal repair:

1. Auto-K special primer (optional, depending on requirements/damage: e.g. Auto-K corrosion protection primer, filler/primer, spray filler)
2. MULTONA car paint (colour shade)
3. MULTONA 2-layer clearcoat (absolutely necessary for the following articles or optionally recommended for all other colour shades)

Plastic repair:

1. Auto-K plastic adhesion promoter (absolutely necessary)
2. MULTONA car paint (colour shade)
3. MULTONA 2-layer clearcoat (absolutely necessary for the following articles or optionally recommended for all other colour shades)

PLEASE NOTE! The following listed MULTONA colour shades MUST be coated with MULTONA 2-layer clearcoat (Art. No. 600 999).

All other MULTONA spray paints do not need to be top coated with a clearcoat. However, we do recommend the MULTONA 2-layer clearcoat (Art. No. 600 999) to increase gloss and weather resistance.

Do not spray onto surface coated with enamel coatings because this might cause the paint to lift.
