MULTI CARTRIDGE PRO BioCeraMAX 600 is a unique cartridge for the AQUAEL MULTIKANI filter , designed for biological water filtration in freshwater and marine aquariums, paludariums, aquaterrariums and terrarium pools. It has the form of cylinders made of porous ceramic material, which provides a very large filtration surface - 600 m2.

Over time, strains of beneficial nitrifying bacteria from the genera Nitrosomonas and Nitrospira settle on the inner surface of the pores of the BioCeraMAX Pro 600 rolls placed in the aquarium filter. In their life processes, these microorganisms use metabolic products that are toxic to fish: ammonia (Nitrosomonas) and nitrites (Nitrospira). Nitrifying bacteria oxidize ammonia and nitrites to the form of nitrates, which are much safer for the aquarium inhabitants.

MULTI CARTRIDGE PRO BioCeraMAX 600 is a one- piece module designed for the AQUAEL MULTIKANI filter . It can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It is especially recommended for tanks with large fish and lots of fish.

The MULTI CARTRIDGE PRO BioCeraMAX 600 insert should be screwed to the MULTIKANI filter . In order to ensure optimal results, it is recommended to place the MULTI CARTRIDGE PRO BioCeraMAX 600 cartridge behind the mechanical filtration cartridges and in front of the chemical filtration cartridges. One MULTI CARTRIDGE PRO BioCeraMAX 600 module can be enough for filtration of an aquarium with a capacity of 320l, with the MULTIKANI filter extended to 8 modules.

To ensure optimal effect, it is recommended to replace about 1/3 of the cartridge with a new one every 6-12 months. When cleaning the filter, the cartridge should be rinsed in the water drained from the aquarium. The MULTI CARTRIDGE PRO BioCeraMAX 600 insert should not be washed in running tap water so as not to cause its sterilization.
