Shine 7 PBT Gaming Keyboard - MX Speed Silver (US), RGB LED, blackout The Shine 7 is the next generation of high-quality mechanical gaming keyboards from the now well-known and popular Shine series from the manufacturer Ducky. And in fact, this variant also brings improvements that were hardly thought possible. You can already see the update visually on the keyboard: instead of plastic or aluminum, the top cover is made of a zinc alloy, which is even harder than aluminum and thus reduces the susceptibility to scratches. This model also has useful features such as RGB LED backlighting, macro and multimedia function keys and high-quality Cherry switches. Thanks to the almost unlimited configurability and the unique Ducky design, the Shine 7 series gaming keyboards are practically the key to success over the digital competition. The Ducky Shine 7 gaming keyboard at a glance:

Ducky mechanical keyboard in US layout
High quality Cherry MX Speed Silver key switches
Impressive RGB LED backlighting
PBT double shot keycaps for durability
Full anti-ghosting with N-key rollover via USB
Macro & multimedia function keys
Detachable USB-C cable with gold-plated connectors

Cherry MX Speed Silver mechanical key switches This version uses Cherry MX Speed Silver switches , which are used by professional gamers for extremely short response times and high switching frequencies . They are particularly characterized by their 40 percent faster triggering compared to other Cherry MX switches and impress with a low triggering weight, a short switching travel and a gentle, linear pressure feel . This enables quick double and triple releases for particularly fast actions. Functions & features of the Ducky Shine 7 gaming keyboard Like the Ducky One and the Ducky Shine 6 , the Ducky Shine 7 relies on a powerful ARM M3 micro controller that reliably controls and saves the functions and LED effects. In addition, it optimizes communication between the keyboard and PC while at the same time enabling additional functions, including the use of macros and profile storage.

Thanks to USB-N-Key rollover, any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without ghosting or other delays. In addition, the rollover function can be reduced to six buttons. The 1,000 Hertz report rate of the USB port is helpful here , as it sends data from the keyboard to the PC every millisecond.

To ensure stability, the Ducky Shine 7 has rubberized feet that can be adjusted to three levels. These prevent annoying slipping in heated gaming situations and give the keyboard a higher installation angle if necessary. The feet can be adjusted in three levels.

The design of the Shine 7 has changed significantly compared to its predecessor. What is particularly important is the new cover, which is made from a zinc alloy . It is significantly harder than aluminum , which reduces the susceptibility to scratches or chips. This is also accompanied by a design change that leans more towards the traditional look of mechanical keyboards. Nevertheless, the corners and edges of the Shine 7 are slightly rounded, giving it a modern look.

The keycaps are made of polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short , are manufactured using the double-shot process and are significantly more durable than keys made with ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene). This process involves molding plastic around a formed piece of metal or plastic, bonding the two components together. The lower part of the keys is made of a translucent material, while the upper layer, apart from the desired cutouts, does not allow light to shine through, so that the LEDs under the keys make the letters and special characters on the keyboard shine even brighter. Stylish RGB LED backlighting The highlight of the Ducky Shine 7 is the RGB LED lighting , which allows numerous design options to be realized. It offers a total of eleven different lighting modes , one of which is more unusual than the other. Compared to its predecessors, the New Equalizer, Tetris and Alpha effects are added. With the LED zone customization mode, you can still create your own profiles for illuminating the keys and configure them to suit the user's wishes. In addition to the LED modes, the strength of the lighting and the effect speed can of course also be adjusted quickly and easily. If necessary, the backlight can be completely deactivated.

The special highlight of the Ducky keyboards is the completely software-free configuration of the RGB LED lighting . All settings and changes can be implemented using various key combinations. Alternatively, the RGB LED lighting can be configured using Razer's Chroma Broadcast.

Note: Ducky's space bar design changes depending on the zodiac sign of the current year. The color of the replacement buttons may also differ from those shown. The images do not always correspond to the actual design on the keyboard.
