Varmilo mechanical keyboards are known for their unique keycap designs that cannot be found anywhere else and can almost be described as works of art. This variant impresses with special keys in cyan, magenta, yellow and purple. The handcrafted PC keyboards also offer lubricated stabilizers and robust materials.
The variant of the Varmilo VEA109 offered here is in a full-size form factor. It offers the full range of keys including number pad, position and arrow keys. This makes it equally suitable for gaming and office applications, but it also requires a lot of space on the desk.
Stylish and durable keycaps
The keyboard caps are made from durable PBT plastic and colored using a sublimination process. The lettering is engraved so it won't fade. The keycaps are smooth and therefore don't get dirty so quickly. This keeps the keyboard looking new for a long time. In addition, the stabilizers of the Enter, Backspace, Shift and Spacebars are lubricated to ensure your typing experience always remains smooth.
Mechanical switches in detail: Cherry MX Brown
This version uses Cherry MX Brown switches . Keyboards with these key switches are a middle ground between a pure gaming keyboard and an ideal typing keyboard. When pressing the buttons, the user has to overcome a slight resistance, which provides tactile feedback when the contact is triggered . Since you can feel the two very close switching points very well, you not only write noticeably faster, but you can also trigger multiple clicks in a row with very little travel.
Modern and diverse functions
The robust metal feet can be folded up and down to give you optimal ergonomic typing. This keyboard also has a USB-C port to which you can attach the included cable and connect it to a USB-A port on your PC. You can adjust the volume or turn it off and start the calculator program using dedicated buttons.
The white LED lighting can be switched on or off using a key combination and the brightness can be adjusted to four levels. As an effect, a fading mode is available, the speed of which can also be adjusted.
