Versatile Access Point
The DAP-2310 allows network administratorsto deploy a highly manageable and extremelyrobust 802.11n wireless network.The detachable antennae provide optimalwireless coverage in the 2.4 GHz (802.11g and802.11n) band using a high power radio designto reduce dead spots and increase capacity.

Enhanced Performance
The DAP-2310 delivers reliable wirelessperformance with maximum wireless signalrates of up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz wirelessband. This coupled with support for Wi-FiMultimedia (WMM™) Quality of Service features,makes it an ideal Access Point for audio, video,and voice applications. Additionally, theDAP-2310 supports Load Balancing features toensure maximum performance by limiting themaximum number of users per Access Point.

Security
To help maintain a secure wireless network, theDAP-2310 provides the latest in wireless securitytechnologies by supporting both Personal andEnterprise versions of WPA and WPA2 (802.11i)with support for a RADIUS server backend. Tofurther protect your wireless network, MACAddress Filtering, Wireless LAN segmentation,disables SSID Broadcast, Rogue AP Detection,and Wireless Broadcast Scheduling are alsoincluded. The DAP-2310 includes support for upto eight VLANs for implementing multiple SSIDsto further help segment users on the network.It also includes a wireless client isolationmechanism, which limits direct client-to-clientcommunication.

Network Management
Network administrators have multiple optionsfor managing the DAP-2310, including a Webinterface (HTTP), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL,which provides a secure connection to theInternet), Secure Shell (SSH, which providesa secure channel between local and remotecomputers), and Telnet. For advanced networkmanagement, administrators can use the D-LinkAP Manager II or D-View SNMPv3 managementmodule to configure and manage multipleAccess Points from a single location. In additionto a streamlined management process, theAP Manager II and D-View software providenetwork administrators with the means toverify and conduct regular maintenancechecks remotely, eliminating the need tosend personnel out to physically verify properoperation.
