The AM4 CPU socket AM4 was launched in 2017 with the AMD Ryzen ™ desktop processors and due to changed hole spacing on the retention module of the motherboard with the CPU cooler to date attached mounting materials for the previous AMD sockets 754, 939, 940, FM1, FM2, FM2 +, AM2, AM2 +, AM3 and AM3 + not compatible!

With the upgrade kit Brocken 2, Brocken 2 PCGH, Brocken ECO, the cooler manufacturer EKL offers customers the opportunity to make their chunk coolers of the Alpenföhn brand compatible with AMD's new AM4 socket.

Note:EKL also offers customers the upgrade kit on AM4 free of charge, which has purchased an Alpenföhn product as of 01.01.2017, in which the AM4 components were not yet included. Via the form "spare parts requirement" on the Alpenföhn website, customers can register their requirements by entering "UpgradeKit AM4" in the field "problem description"
