This adapter allows the use of the Prolimatech MK-13 high-end graphics card cooler on NVIDIA GTX 460 and GTX 560 Ti cards in reference design. With its extreme performance, the cooler is equally recommended as the basis for a silent PC as well as for overclocking experiments.
In both cases it is considerably superior to the standard cooler. This is already evident from the fact that it can also reliably and quietly cool models with significantly higher waste heat. The installation of the two adapter rails is uncomplicated, as they are simply screwed to the MK-13 floor instead of the usual rails. Thus, even when changing the graphics card, a continued use of this top model is possible and is done quickly.
Note: To mount the MK-13 on a GTX 460, the existing backplate of the graphics card will continue to be used. The cooler can not be installed without it!
