The beautiful Lusitano mare feels right at home in the cosy horse stall. She drinks from the water trough to quench her thirst and plucks delicious hay from the rack. When it’s time for training, her stall door is opened and she is led out by the halter. Maybe she’ll win another rosette again soon? The friends regularly meet at the riding school to train with their riding teacher. Dressage, showjumping, vaulting: the three friends really enjoy the highly varied training. After the riding lessons, they unsaddle the horses, reward them with apples and clean their coats using a horse brush and curry comb.

Lusitanos are a Portuguese horse breed. Their coats can be any basic colour, but with age most Lusitanos turn grey.
