- Bacterial cystitis
- Dissolution of struvite uroliths
- Management of recurrent struvite urolithiasis and calcium oxalate
- Chronic renal failure, metabolic acidosis
- Heart failure
- Hyperlipidemie
- Pancreatitis
- Parallel use of urine acidifying medication
- Pregnant or lactating bitches
