Thick premium PU insulation Tests have shown that 30% of the cooling capacity is lost through the base and 30% through the lid. Therefore, our new models are insulated especially on the bottom and on the lid, we have removed some insulation on the side walls. This results in a more compact external dimension, with the same cooling performance and volume capacity inside. We use polyurethane for insulation, the best insulation material on the market - this results in up to 30% more insulation performance. More efficiency As soon as a cool box comes into contact with hot or warm floor, the heat is transferred to the cool box. However, if the cooler is lifted off the floor, the heat is dissipated via the air in the space (air is an excellent insulator). Our cool boxes have two integrated, rounded feet that create the perfect space for optimal air flow between the floor and the cool box. Further research has shown that the perfect shape for a cool box would be spherical. Since this is of course impractical, we have rounded the corners of our latest boxes in order to be able to incorporate the research results into our development here as well.
