Ficus - one of the most popular and most commonly grown plants in the interior. The variety of ficus species is very large: from fine-colored single-colored to large-leaf variegated varieties. Growing: a sunny place in the room on the east or west side. Can be taken outside in summer. Lighting: Likes bright light but needs to be protected from direct sunlight. Temperature: 15-24 ° C. Watering: a little every week, very intolerant of watering. Substrate: sandy, fertile, well drained, pH 6.6-7.5. It is important to create good drainage in a flower pot or container. Fertilization: during active growth with liquid foliar fertilizers. No need to fertilize in winter. Transplantation: every two years. Requires a deep flower pot.
