Big on quality. When sophistication meets style.
There’s more to ‘Made in Germany’ than just garden gnomes, pretzels and Lederhosen! The new Gigaset GS185 is manufactured at the Gigaset production plant in Bocholt and combines quality with top performance for a price of just €179. This high-performance smartphone leaves nothing to be desired and stands for advanced technologies paired with the traditional ‘Made in Germany’ mark of quality.
Pure Android™ 8.1 Oreo: enjoy it at your leisure.
More intelligent, quicker and more powerful – the Gigaset GS185 comes with the latest version of the Android™ 8.1 Oreo operating system. This means you benefit from the very latest technologies for improved energy management and usage optimisation.
Lithium polymer battery: full speed ahead.
Lasting for a long time and charging quickly, the high-performance 4,000 mAh lithium polymer battery boasts 550 hours of standby time or 80 hours of music when out and about. With USB on the go (OTG), you can connect external USB devices such as USB sticks or keyboards, or you can use your smartphone as a power bank. The battery reliably powers the Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 425 1.4 GHz processor with up to 2 GB RAM (+16 GB internal storage). Enjoy the benefits of VoLTE and VoWi-Fi while relaxing in the garden, for example.
HD+ display: everything in focus.
Quality inside and out. The 5.5" HD+ IPS display with 1,440 × 720 pixels and frameless vision gives you the full picture. Thanks to IPS technology, content can be viewed from any angle. The 2.5D glass offers protection from scratches and is anti-smudge, for greater safety and a longer smartphone life. The Gigaset GS185 with metal-effect coating is available in the design colours Midnight Blue and Metal Cognac.
Dual SIM and SD slot: space for more.
With its three slots, the Gigaset GS185 has space for two nano-SIM cards and an additional SD card – a major advantage if you want more. Use your smartphone for both business and pleasure simultaneously or use the additional storage space of up to 256 GB on the microSD card for your holiday photos, music and apps.
Hi-res cameras: captures precious moments.
The GS185 takes photography adequately into account too, with 13 megapixels not only in the main camera, but also in the front camera. The front camera also features an LED selfie flash, allowing selfie fans to show themselves off in the right light. And if you want to take things even further, you can creatively edit your photos with the multi-effect mode.
