6 COOKING PROGRAMS

Pressure Multicooker REDMOND RMC-PM4506 is equipped with six automatic cooking programs, with optimal default settings for different dishes. Default settings can be manually adjusted (except“FRY/DEEP FRY” program). Time adjustment range and interval depend on the cooking program selected.

• “FRY/DEEP FRY” program is recommended for frying and deep frying meat, poultry, vegetables, and seafood. The foods cook under normal pressure, with the lid removed.
• “STEAM/DESSERT” program is recommended for steaming vegetables, fish, meat, seafood, and for making various desserts. The foods cook under high pressure, with the steam release valve closed.
• “SOUP/BOIL” program is recommended for making soups, broths, for cooking sausages, and different frozen semi-finished products. The foods cook under high pressure, steam release valve closed.
• “PORRIDGE/GRAIN” program is recommended for cooking porridges with water or milk and for making various grain side dishes. The foods cook under high pressure, steam release valve closed.
• “BAKE” program is recommended for baking cakes, pies, pastry, and baking meat and fish in foil. The foods cook under normal pressure, steam release valve open.
• “STEW/PILAF” program is recommended for stewing meat, fish, vegetables, and for cooking various pilafs. The foods cook under high pressure, steam release valve closed.

4-LEVEL SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEM

Pressure Multicooker REDMOND RMC-PM4506 features a multilevel safety protection system. If the lid is not closed or locked properly, pressurised cooking will not be activated. In case the pressure exceeds the safety limit, the steam release valve will automatically open to release the pressure inside the chamber. The heating element stops its operation when the temperature goes over a safety limit and resumes its operation only when the temperature is back to normal. The device is equipped with backup pressure release and overheat protection mechanisms that will operate if the primary mechanism fails.

“REHEAT” FUNCTION

“Reheat” function allows warming up the cold meal.

“KEEP WARM” FUNCTION

Pressure Multicooker REDMOND RMC-PM4506 is equipped with the function which allows keeping the meal warm for a period of time up to eight hours. However, we recommend using the function moderately because a prolonged thermal exposure may dry out the meal.

“TIME DELAY” FUNCTION

Use the function to delay the cooking program for up to 24 hours. Set the timer and your dish will be ready by an early breakfast or by the time of your friends visit.

NON-STICK COATED BOWL

Pressure Multicooker REDMOND RMC-PM4506 is provided with 5-L inner bowl with high quality non-stick coating by DAIKIN® (Japan). The coating features excellent non-stick properties allowing to use the minimum amount of cooking oil, meaning healthier meals. The bowl is suitable for oven use and is easy to wash by hand or in the dishwasher.
