The tile cutter PTC 470 from Bosch is easy to use. Through sophisticated functions, it delivers precise results and cuts tiles up to 470 millimeters in length. An additional advantage of the tile cutter is the effortless cracking and breaking of the tile in just one step. The compact device also has a titanium-coated cutting wheel for scoring the tiles. The tile cutter is therefore particularly durable and ensures a precise breakage edge. In addition, a scale on ruler and stop helps to achieve a millimetre accurate working method. Equipped with a base plate made of die-cast aluminium, the tile cutter is very robust. In addition, the PTC 470 is extremely stable thanks to the mounted rubber feet and can therefore not slip during use. Machining of large and small tiles The PTC 470 tile cutter allows easy creaking and breaking of ceramic wall and floor tiles with a thickness of up to twelve millimeters. The tile is securely fixed in the tile cutter by means of a clamping device and precisely carved with a titanium-coated cutting wheel. Thus, even when cutting narrow tile strips, high precision is given. If you need to work with large tiles, the extension of the tile cutter PTC 470 is a first-class extra. The PTC 470 also features a movable stop for easy serial cuts. The lightweight device can be easily and safely transported to various applications with two carrying handles. Practical functions The tile cutter PTC 470 has some practical functions that make it easier to use. Thus, the tile is inserted flush at the front of the stop edges and fixed with the clamping rail. By means of an integrated spring mechanism, the rail automatically adapts to the respective tile thickness. That is, the tile is well clamped at all times and can not slip when scoring. The titanium coated cutting wheel is then pushed over the entire tile with light pressure. After that, only the breaking stamp integrated on the side has to be reversed and the tile will break neatly on the existing scratch line. Also included is a 45 degree angle stop for precise diagonal cuts.
