The aqualis series reservoirs are equipped with a borosilicate glass tube, which, in contrast to the acrylic glass commonly used for tubing reservoirs, has very high hardness and scratch resistance as well as very low thermal expansion and excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
The glass tube of the 880 ml variant has an outside diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm. The base and lid of the aqualis series are made of Delrin, the lid and bottom are connected by a stainless steel rod. A stainless steel baffle above the inflow opening in the expansion tank ensures good ventilation of the circuit. This version is additionally provided with a nano-coating, which simply lets water roll off the inside of the glass tube.
