The 12.5" air tires of the PUKY® LR 1L ensure optimum comfort and maximum grip on all surfaces while being very quiet. Thus, the PUKY® balance bikes with air tires are the ideal vehicle for ambitious pilots who are already traveling a little faster. The safety handles protect the tender hands of children and defuse the handlebar ends. The banana saddle pulled up in front ensures that the gained momentum is transferred to the vehicle without the child sliding forward from the saddle. The deep access allows safe ascents and descents. Thanks to the large running board, the rider can park his feet when going downhill, thus ensuring a favorable center of gravity and safe handling, even at higher speeds. We intentionally do without a steering angle limit on our wheels. So the handlebar lies flat on the ground when falling and the risk of injury drops considerably. The PUKY® LR 1L is available in the colours red, blue, silver and in the theme worlds "Princess Lillifee" and "Capt'n Sharky".
Learner bikes
PUKY® learner bikes are an ideal complement to the classic scooter, and also the perfect preparatory stage for the first play bike. They are characterised by their low step through frame and particularly child-friendly ergonomics. The special learner bike saddles are ergonomically shaped and perfectly support the child's walking movements. The handlebar and saddle are height-adjustable, allowing for individual customisation. As a result, movement and the vehicle can be enjoyed for years.

The "banana saddle", specially developed for our balance bikes, gives children a secure grip and supports the child's running movements. Since the thrust of the impulse can only be transmitted via the saddle, a completely different shape than a bicycle saddle is necessary to give the child safety and good vehicle control.
Safety and child friendliness are key points of all PUKY® vehicles. So PUKY® was the first manufacturer who built special safety handlebar grips with large baffles. These protect hands against injuries when an accident happens or when the child should fall on the handlebar. At the same time, the safety handlebar prevent unwanted lateral slipping. The grip surface provides good grip and the small diameter is suitable for children's hands and allows a complete gripping.
The deep entry to our balance bikes makes it easy to get on and off the bike, which gives novice drivers a high degree of safety and confidence in the vehicle and their own abilities. Learning successes are achieved faster and the fun of the movement is increased.
How important a large running board is, anyone can observe, watching children while driving downhill. If this is not available, the feet are intuitively lifted high above the ground. The center of gravity moves upwards, the whole vehicle loses stability and swings up. But if the feet are deep and central in the vehicle, the track remains stable, uncertainties do not even occur. If you had one, you never drive without below!
When it comes to grip on any surface, pneumatic wheels are still superior to any other technology today. Also the comfort and the optimal handling are substantial advantages of the pneumatic tire which can be adapted by the adjustment of the air pressure on the personal preferences of the children. So who puts more emphasis on optimal performance than on low maintenance, which is well served with the LR 1 L!
To ensure good ergonomics and the longest possible useful life, our handlebars and seatpost are infinitely height-adjustable on our LRM balance bikes. Thus, the vehicle adapts continuously to the size growth of the small drivers.
