HCX Processor
The heart of a TV is the image processor. The Panasonic HCX processor has been optimized in close cooperation with Hollywood professionals. He masters the wealth of image information and the enormous speed at which it has to be distributed effortlessly. The HCX processes colors, black levels and brightness according to the original. 3D LUT, HDR and 4K remaster technology enhance hue accuracy in both light and dark areas. The result: precise colour and image reproduction as intended by the filmmakers.

HDR10/PQ, HLG, HDR10+, Dolby Vision
and HLG Photo Panasonic supports all major HDR standards with the new HXW804 series TVs. In addition to HLG, which was developed by the British BBC and Japan's NHK to broadcast HDR content, and HDR10, the HDR format of the Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc™, these also include the two formats HDR10+ and Dolby Vision™, which are based on dynamic metadata. Local Dimming
