With the Continuum series, the Hungarian brand Kolink finally leaves the field of budget power supplies and presents a high-quality power supply for a fair price. From now on, Kolink also wants to convince gamers with several (heavily) overclocked graphics cards as well as operators of rendering platforms and workstations with quality and value for money. With high-end models with more than 1,000 watts nominal power and 80 plus platinum efficiency, Kolink is now in no way inferior to the better-known brands in Germany.

High-end technology for power packs of the upper class For such performance Kolink relies on upper-class technology: While a double-forward circuit is used in the primary area, the manufacturer relies on DC-DC technology with independent voltage regulation in the secondary area. This benefits both the efficiency and the precision of the power supply, especially with asymmetric load. Thus, the Continuum power supply with the total nominal power may be loaded on the + 12 volt rail if required. Particularly in systems with several main processors and graphics cards, very different load conditions are commonplace - good that Kolink has designed the new top series from the outset to extreme scenarios.

A clear highlight of the Kolink Continuum C1050PL is the gigantic equipment with connections: In addition to the 20 + 4-pin ATX connector for the board can each have a 4 + 4-pin and an 8-pin 12V EPS connector up to supply two high-processors. For the graphics cards, there are six six + 2-pin PCIe connectors on three cable harnesses. Even render setups with six middle-class GPUs can be operated without adapter-craft solutions.
