The iFixit iSlack is a specially designed tool for safely opening an iPhone 5S, 5C, 6 or 6 Plus. All you have to do is remove the Pentalobe screws at the bottom of the iPhone and then slide the iPhone up and the home button in the direction of the handle into the iSlack tool. Then the suction cups must be pressed on the top and bottom of the iPhone. Now the handles can be gently squeezed to make the display stand out from the iPhone. However, due to sensitive cable connections, this should not happen too quickly.
Note: If the display is splintered, the included adhesive sheets may be used to mask the defective display.
