Decorative plaster (liquid wallpaper) are based on silk fibers and designed for covering interior of living and working apartments. It offers an advantage of high attachment tenacity with surface, elasticity and can be used as decorative material for covering walls, ceilings and also non-rectilinear parts of surface. It combines the best advantages of traditional roll wallpapers and textile wallpapers. Ecologically clean product.
Properties: ready surface is seamless, insulates heat, absorbs sound, frost-resisting, permeable for air, antistatic and conceals small cracks as well as imperfections of surface. A small repair is possible on a separate part of a surface.
Surface preparation: a surface must be clean and dry. Old wallpaper, whitewash, nails and other metal parts must be removed. Parts of the surface which are dirty or peeling off must be cleaned out. If the surface was covered with lime plaster, then this plaster must be removed completely. Screw heads and other metal parts must be painted with white alkyd paint. The surface must be smoothed with gypsum plaster and then coated with white acrylic prime of high penetration. In case of need for better insulation abilities white waterproof primer-paint can be applied. Fiberboards of different kinds and plywood must be covered with concentrated water-insulating prime by double coating. The color of the surface must be white or the same color tone as prepared liquid wallpaper. For this purpose white water-dispersion paint can be used.
Application preparations: the contents of the package must be completely poured out to a plastic vessel with warm water (40-50°C) and stir with hands. The required amount of water 7 liters. Mixture must be soaked for 8 hours.
Application: material must be mixed and applied to the surface with rectangular plastic trowel in one direction with 1 mm coating thickness. The surface must be covered “from corner to corner” with material mixed in one vessel. Covering of every separate surface (flatness) must be finished completely. If the work has not been finished and the edge of coating got dry, then the dry edge must be wetted with water and smoothly attached to the next portion of material.
