Within only a few years, EK Water Blocks has developed into a leading supplier of high-quality Wakü components. Above all, it convinces with a range of coolers that offers different material combinations for every design. Performance and individual design are therefore equally weighted. On the way to becoming a full-range provider in the Wakü segment, EK is now presenting a series of new radiators. "CoolStream XE" was christened the models that once again combine high-quality workmanship, performance and design. Matt black and a very straightforward design with little rounded elements makes for a discreet-noble look. An essential difference to previous radiator series from EK Water Blocks is the large height of 60 mm, which, together with the quite high lamella density of 16 FPI, based on active cooling, enables a brute cooling performance. The other qualities are hidden above all in detail. This is already clear when looking at the balance: At 2.1 kg this 480 version beats, due to the very generous use of copper for the slats and the tubes. On the other hand, the antechambers are made of brass and the housing of aluminum and steel - so the ideal material was used at each point. The fin design has been optimized for optimal heat dissipation with 120 mm fans, which is why the radiator offers both slow speeds in silent systems, but also for high speeds in performance systems. With its enormous area and the possibility to mount four four 120 fans, this version offers maximum cooling performance and can cool even the most extensive systems. The integration into the circuit takes place with four G1 / 4-inch threads. Two of them are sealed with blanking plugs, two more are provided for maximum connection compatibility with pre-installed extenders. The required connections are not included. However, the required 5 mm and 30 mm screws are included, which are used to install the required fans on the radiator and to mount the radis in the housing.
